How to Get a Response From Someone That You are Targeting

Every day, my wife Blake and I get tons of messages from people who want something from us.
And we delete 95% of them.
Even with all the communication and technology tools available today, people still choose to send mass messages and emails. But it’s rare for those types of messages to get a response, and they can even hurt your brand and credibility.
If you want to get a response from someone you are targeting—for a sale, to make an investment, or to speak at an event—it pays off to do five minutes of legwork.
The emails we respond to are the ones that are personalized and show that the sender put some effort into the message. If I receive a mass email that doesn’t even have my name in it, I’m not going to respond.

Here are Blake’s three proven ways to get a response from someone you are targeting.
- Don’t send mass messages. Send an email or message to each person individually, not to an entire group of people. If you target and identify one person and then spend two minutes creating a message just for them, it puts you ahead of the vast majority of people and you’ll stand out in their inbox.
- Research the person you are targeting. Do a simple Google search to know what’s happening in their lives right now. Look at their social media for recent updates or at what’s happening with their company or industry. Then take that information and write a message that fits their current circumstances.
- Be relevant to them. Before you send your email, figure out how your message or product is relevant to them right now. Why should they pay attention to you? Make your communication personalized and relevant.
It only takes about five minutes to craft a personalized, relevant message that is much more likely to get a response.

3yRespectfully, when I send a message here, when I've been invited by LinkedIn to participate in dialogues, I will always consider my messages to go to the entire human-race. Where I'm just a member, just one, of billions, but if consider everyone to "be important", I'm also important. I'm convinced that our entire human-race, not matter, color, philosophy, religion, scientific-field, political-involvement, profession, we've been planted here by the STARS, our entire GALAXY, or Groups of Galaxies Organized known as an INFINITE or many ones of them. Our ignorance is so supreme, in everything. Just, we've convinced ourselves that we "know everything". Potentially? Yes! ALBERT EINSTEIN has described our entire human-race as GENIUSES! But, of course, in different fields. So, when we pretend to be or act as LEADERS, our gigantic MISSION must be, should be, to learn to be humble enough to RESPECT every member of the entire human-race. People, who live isolated and never learned to read or write, are also "geniuses" in their own fields. These ignored kind of people, are never responsible for destroying the ENVIRONMENT. Wrongly, creating and reinforcing political-decisions, added to economic-decisions, to religious-decisions, and philosophical-ones, plus scientific-mistakes, are the CAUSE of GLOBAL-WARMING. If "life descended from the Stars", we must've forgotten to consult the UNIVERSE, the Stars, Mother Nature, Mother-Earth, instead of making quick decisions by just listening to our "intellectual-brains"... Which make-mistake after mistake. Why? Because, the so called process of "thinking" is just too-limited: A constant-confrontation between a THESIS and an ANTITHESIS, to resolve a final SYNTHESIS... So, it's like a YES, against a NO, to realize a MAYBE... Trouble is people fall in love with that "game" and declare and assure that the MAYBE is the YES, but results later will prove complete wrong decisions. One example: Scientific Groups have declared that LIFE HAS BEEN CREATED through a BIG-BANG! Was it based on loving "noise"? Wars? The violence of wars (#1 and # 2) while dreaming or maybe planning a Third? Probably nuclear? Was the cruel-inspiration emanated from the end of WW-2, when Hiroshima and Nagasaki destroyed by NUCLEAR-BOMS? Which have continued with many "nuclear-testing" realized worldwide by the Superpowers? By "Intellectuals" who abused extremely their INTELLECTUAL BRAIN, while ignoring the reality of TWO other Brains? Do we know, that we all posses THREE BRAINS? proved scientifically? But ignored by worldwide Leaders? Who have decided to consult too much to insane-political-decisions. Too many LEADERS, who are searching for followers to just obey them, instead of learning to AWAKEN our Soul-Consciousness. To serve mankind. Our entire human-race in their basic, fundamental needs. Our actual PANDEMIA is a result of IGNORING our responsibility in the CONTAMINATION of our OXIGEN... Coming from nuclear-testing, from destroying our jungles (Africa, Brazil, Latin-America, other regions)... Realizing today the contamination of our OCEANS, due to accidents while traveling in gigantic-ships carrying OIL, and other products... Isn't time to realize that TIME has come to REEDUCATE ourselves, more in a responsible manner? By just accepting the TRUTH and sharing it? Because LIES have conducted to the actual serious stage of global annihilation of our entire human-race? HUMANS = homo-sapiens = HUMANS with WISDOM?... Isn't time to wake up? To stop sleeping 24 hrs. a day? TO STOP, Obeying to OUR-EGO (false personality)... EGO = opposite to SOUL-CONSCIOUSNESS... EGO = subconsciousness, unconsciousness, infra-consciousness = evil-psychologies in constant-action? EGO = according to Christian philosophies = SEVEN-DEADLY-SINS opposite to SEVEN-VIRTUES (Soul consciousness)... What about MOSES and the "ten Commandments"? Mainly # 6 and # 9, considered the worst.
