How Intentions, Mindset and Leadership Drive Your Success

What’s shakin’? You goin’ ALL IN the last few weeks?

I’ve learned a lot in my life about becoming a great business leader. To me, it starts with setting my intentions and focusing on mindset and leadership. I think about these 3 building blocks to achieve success and maintain it.

Intention: Success doesn't happen by accident. You have to be intentional about what you want to achieve. That means setting clear goals and putting a plan in place to reach them. It also means being mindful of your actions and how they impact your ability to achieve your goals.

Action: Of course, intention is nothing without action. You have to put in the work to make your goals a reality. That means taking consistent and focused action towards your goals. It also means being willing to adjust your plan as needed based on feedback and results. One step forward everyday leads to massive success over time.

Retrospection: Pay attention to how things are going along the way. This doesn't mean getting caught up in the details or obsessing over every little thing. It means taking a step back from time to time to reflect on your progress and make sure you're still on track.

These principles guide my leadership and were discussed throughout my podcasts the last few weeks. Check them out and let me know what guides your success.

Your Intentions Determine Your Actions

How consistent are you with your actions?

No matter what, when you are trying to tackle something, you need to lead with consistent and good intentions. That is what powers your actions, which will supply your outcomes.

Staying focused on your intentions will keep you on the path to what your end goal is. When you begin to lack in your intention, your outcome’s likability decreases…

Remember what you wanted at the beginning, and remind yourself frequently of what you want.

So, what is your intention? Whatever it is...Stay steadfast with your intentions. AND

Go ALL IN.

How to Lead Difficult People

How do you show up as a leader?

As a leader, it’s important to guide the people you lead gracefully. You cannot shove people into decisions or roles, but you need to open a conversation with those you lead to gather and gauge when and where you should coach, mentor and then lead.

There are multiple ways to lead your team. You can lead by focusing on their weaknesses, or by their strengths, or leading by example.

Each tone of leadership has their pros and cons, but where do they weigh on a balancing scale? Which one has the best outcome?

In this episode, I talk about my own mistakes I have made in leading, as well as my successes. Because leadership has lessons.

Don’t Ignore The Generation Beyond You

Why are kids in such a rush to grow up at 18?

The pressure that is placed upon a freshly graduated 18 year old kid, is absolutely baffling. Society, especially in the United States, is heavily focused on having our kids grown up enough at 18 where they can find a career field to invest in. Spending thousands and thousands of dollars on a college education…

An education that leads into a lifetime career, which they might end up hating by the time they graduate and enter their workforce.

 So why the rush?

Your 20s should be focused on finding what you like, learning what you enjoy to do, what hobbies interest you. Your 30s should be about crafting a skill, the practice.. And in your 40s, you should be grinding.

Young adults should be learning to find out what they like, and what they’re good at before making such a large leap. They should be surrounding themselves with people a generation older, finding out what interests them, and taking in all the advice they can.

Why do you need to rush at 18 years old?
