How LinkedIn can help you, the college graduate take the right path after graduation

When I was in my college phase, I was uncertain about which path to take. I was on the path to becoming a language arts teacher. I also worked through school as a sports writer for the Illinois State Vidette.

You see…

I personally lacked guidance and mentorship and the weight of making life-altering decisions weighed heavily on my shoulders.

It was a daunting and overwhelming journey that I somehow passed into a career in the Air Force as a public affairs professional and journalist.

At that time, academics didn't matter much…

But now…

The choices you make in your academics can make or break your life.

That's why, I don't want any student to face the same situation alone.

Because let's face a harsh truth:

There's a complete disconnect between good counseling and students…

And that's EXACTLY where I come between.

My mission is to help college students make informed choices about colleges and their courses of study. That's why I wrote the book "LinkedIn For Learners." That's also why I work with young professionals like Luke Kerr and Selinda Cortez.  Both have made that successful launch from college into their chosen profession with my team's help to create a LinkedIn profile that conveys their talents and leadership.

(On July 19, I will be teaching an online webinar to help college students grasp how to effectively begin their LinkedIn profile.)
