How To Make 6- or 7-Figures Without Selling ANY of Your Books

How To Make 6- or 7-Figures Without Selling ANY of Your Books

When I work with consultants, speakers, and leaders, I invite them to think differently: "How can you make 6- or 7-figures without selling a single book?"

Most of them scratch their head (some literally, some metaphorically).

Then I teach them how to do it (and I'll teach you here as well). Part of it is avoiding the biggest mistakes and the other one involves the best math quiz ever.

(Didn't see that one coming, did you?)

First, get your book done, and make sure to avoid The 5 Biggest Book Mistakes

I would love for you to bring your book to the world. I would love for you to share your message, make the impact you want to make, get the clients you want, and have the life you want.

Your book is a brilliant way to do that. But so many folks don’t write their book. Many more don’t finish their book. And some finish their book, but the book disappears into obscurity, and nobody gets the benefit.

This is very sad.

So, stop the madness—right now. The beautiful opportunity is that when you know the mistakes, you don’t have to make them anymore, or you can avoid them in the first place.

The five biggest book mistakes are so easy to avoid, yet they literally cost people millions of dollars a year and decades of life.

Here they are:

  1. Not knowing your audience. Most people don’t understand their audience’s needs and wants and don’t use their language. This happens when you don’t take the time to ask questions and listen.
  2. Not sharing stories. Most people don’t include stories about themselves. They don’t include case studies; they don’t include what happened on the bus the other day—none of the goodness that makes books (and you) memorable.
  3. Not using a schedule. Most people don’t put ‘book time’ on their calendar; it simply remains a someday thing that eats away at their joy and willpower. Life is so much easier when you put stuff on the calendar.
  4. Old-school thinking. There is no such thing as writer’s block. And you can bring your message to the world without needing a traditional publisher. (Professional self-publishing is the way to go.)
  5. (Just) Writing. The last big mistake that people make is they actually try to write their book! Instead, it’s better, faster, easier, and smarter to dictate your book so you can get it done right, in your voice.

That’s it. Now you know.

Because when you know the mistakes, you don’t have to make them anymore.

Or you can just avoid them in the first place.

Best Math Quiz Ever

How many books do you have to sell to make $100,000? If you’re working with a traditional publisher (which I DON’T recommend (99% of the time), you have to sell 80,000 to 100,000 books.

And that requires A LOT of time, money, and energy.

But the better answer may surprise you.

It’s zero!

You can sell zero books and make $100,000!

That's what I did. (Actually, it was closer to $200,000.)

How?

Use your book to develop relationships with 1 to 20 people who can get you to that $100,000 goal much faster.

Why spend time, money, and energy trying to sell a bunch of books?

Instead, use your book to cultivate relationships that will bring more income, influence, and impact so much faster!

Sound good?

I'm happy to help you do this.
