I learned a new acronym this morning

I'm in the process of ramping up my 4th #career - JeremiahPress

I saw a presentation by Vishen Lakhiani, talking about how he's using OKR at MindValley and said to myself "Self, what is OKR?"

Turns out, it was invented by Andy Grove, at Intel, and fleshed out at Google.

"What is an OKR? ... The definition of “OKRs” is “Objectives and Key Results.” It is a collaborative goal-setting tool used by teams and individuals to set challenging, ambitious goals with measurable results. OKRs are how you track progress, create alignment, and encourage engagement around measurable goals" - courtesy WhatMatters.com

There's a book about it "Measure What Matters", which I bought this morning.

From the little I've learned about OKR, it seems to be a way to avoid puny, little goals.

That makes it worth looking at.
