"I M Possible": A Celebration of Unyielding Maternal Love - From Keya and Monisha to My Own Mother!

Introduction:

As we approach Mother's Day, I reflect on the extraordinary stories of maternal strength and dedication that I've witnessed. Last month, at the WOMEN SUMMIT 2024 in Navi Mumbai, the unbreakable bond between Keya Hatkar and her mother, Monisha Hatkar , was a profound reminder of the power of maternal love. This event, hosted by the Association Of Business Leaders & Entrepreneurs (ABLE) Navi Mumbai, ably led by Ramesh Neel , Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University Department of Management Studies, and the INDIAN SOCIETY FOR TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT - Navi Mumbai Chapter, celebrated women as crucial enablers in society. Here, I also find a moment to honor my own mother, whose unwavering support has been my cornerstone.

Unbreakable Bonds:

Keya Hatkar, a vibrant 13-year-old, despite her battle with Spinal Muscular Atrophy, shines brightly in the realms of literature, art, and digital communication, thanks to the relentless support of her mother, Monisha Hatkar. After their family turned away following Keya's diagnosis, Monisha stood as the pillar of strength, nurturing Keya's talents and spirit. Their story is not just about overcoming, but thriving against the odds.

Mother’s Sacrifice and Daughter’s Triumph:

Monisha's journey echoes in the lives of many mothers who sacrifice without hesitation for their children's future. This narrative resonates deeply with me as I recall my own mother's sacrifices. She paved the path for my pursuits and achievements, just as Monisha did for Keya, teaching us that with love and support, 'impossible' is just a word.

Celebration and Recognition:

The summit was a touching tribute to the silent yet powerful roles mothers play. As Keya and Monisha received their accolades, it was a celebration of every mother’s quiet contributions. It reminded me of the countless ways in which my own mother shaped my life, encouraging me to pursue my dreams relentlessly.

The Power of Community Support:

The stories of Keya and Monisha, alongside my own experiences, highlight the crucial role of community in nurturing the next generation. This Mother’s Day, let’s vow to support and empower all mothers and daughters, recognizing their potential to transform society.

Call to Action:

This Mother's Day, let's celebrate the incredible impact of mothers around the world. Share your stories of maternal figures who have inspired and motivated you, and consider what we can do to support young women like Keya in achieving their fullest potential.

Conclusion:

As we celebrate Mother's Day, we honor the strength, love, and resilience of mothers like Monisha and my own, who have made profound sacrifices to raise empowered daughters. Their stories inspire us to foster a world where every woman and girl can boldly declare, "I M Possible."

Thank you for this heartfelt rendering Preeti Sharma. To me every child needs to feel I M POSSIBLE just like Keya Hatkar does today. Also pray and hope that every child is supported unconditionally to become better individuals. That's our only hope to make a better world for ALL.
