I Set Unrealistic Goals
Believe in the Unbelievable: Achieving the Extraordinary Against All Odds

I Set Unrealistic Goals

Dear reader.

I was told my goals were unrealistic.

I remember the day so vividly. I was just twelve years old, a wide-eyed student in senior high school, when I looked at my cousins with unwavering determination and proclaimed, "I will enter university before I turn sixteen!" My heart swelled with excitement as I awaited their response.

But instead of support and encouragement, laughter filled the air. They couldn't fathom how someone as young as me could possibly achieve such a lofty goal. Their laughter pierced my soul, and I could see the tears of doubt in their eyes.

At that moment, I was faced with a choice. I could allow their laughter to extinguish my dreams, or I could use their doubt as fuel to propel me forward. I chose the latter.

Fast forward three years, and against all odds and with sheer determination, I stood at the gates of the Federal University of Technology, Akure. I had defied the expectations and surpassed the limitations that others had placed on me. It was a testament to the power of self-belief and resilience.

But that was just the beginning of my journey. As time went on, I encountered more naysayers. I longed to prove them wrong once again. I remember vividly a conversation with a friend when I shared my desire to pay for my own house rent. She scoffed at me, pointing out that I couldn't even afford a basic table and chair. Her words stung, but deep down, I knew that my dreams were bigger than any temporary setback.

I didn't have all the answers back then. I didn't know exactly how I would achieve my goals. But I refused to let that stop me. I continued to affirm my dreams to myself and to anyone who would listen. I would say with unwavering conviction, "I will achieve it!"

And you know what? Before the following year, I moved into a bigger apartment, and I proudly paid my rent with the money I had earned. It was a moment of triumph and a reminder that self-affirmation and unwavering belief in oneself can move mountains.

Dear reader, I share this story with you because I want you to understand the incredible power within you. Don't let the doubts and laughter of others dampen your spirit. Embrace your dreams, no matter how big or audacious they may seem.

You see, I've been labeled as someone who sets unrealistic goals. But let me tell you something: those goals have bred determination within me. Each remarkable achievement I've attained has silenced the doubters and replaced them with believers and encouragers.

Now, dear reader, I stand before you on the cusp of a new challenge by Haoma Worgwu , with fresh goals shimmering before me. The whispers of doubt may still linger, but I choose to drown them out with my unwavering belief. I will achieve my goals, just as I have done time and time again.

So I invite you, dear reader, to join me on this journey. Think about that one thing you long to achieve—that burning desire within your heart. Close your eyes, take a deep breath, and say it out loud with conviction and emotion. Declare to yourself, "I will achieve it!"

Feel the power of those words as they reverberate through your being. Let that declaration be the driving force that propels you forward, overcoming every obstacle in your path. And when you do achieve your goals, remember to celebrate your triumphs, both big and small.

Together, dear reader, let us embrace the limitless possibilities that await us.

With sheer determination,
