IEA PVPS Leadership Visits GoodWe at China Headquarters

Mr. Daniel Mugnier, Chair of the Executive Committee of the International Energy Agency’s Photovoltaic Power Systems Programme (IEA PVPS), accompanied by Vice Chair Ms Lv Fang, and Executive Secretary Ms. Emily Mitchell, visited GoodWe’s headquarters in Suzhou, China, and met with Daniel Huang, CEO of GoodWe, and his senior executives.

During the visit, Mr. Mugnier participated in an unveiling ceremony of GoodWe’s new headquarters building, an integral part of GoodWe’s Global Partner Summit 2024, jointly organized by GoodWe Smart Energy and BIPV business units. In his remarks, he extended congratulations on the inauguration of the facility and expressed optimism about strengthening collaboration with GoodWe in advancing global renewable energy solutions.

The IEA PVPS delegation toured GoodWe’s Smart Energy Exhibition Hall, where they reviewed the company’s expertise in delivering integrated solutions. Mr. Mugnier commended GoodWe’s contributions to the clean energy transition, highlighting its innovative technologies and strategic initiatives that are shaping the global energy landscape.


Meeting between IEA PVPS Leadership and GoodWe Executive Team

Following the tour, GoodWe held a meeting with the IEA PVPS delegation. The discussions covered key topics such as global photovoltaic (PV) trends, climate change, trade policies, and the evolving dynamics of renewable energy markets. The IEA PVPS representatives shared insights on energy market development and opportunities with other international organizations.
