Are Indian NOT Entrepreneurial genetically?

This is million dollar question as we dont find many capable people from India entering into turbulent water and play risk to think big and do big.....

When it comes to professional choice we start playing very safe...

Two most important factor which attracts capable students towards Government Jobs are job security and work life balance

In entrepreneurship you get none of these

Entrepreneurship is Very high risk and effort oriented path, those playing safe cant travel on this path

You take any developed nation, jobs and employment opportunities are not created only by Government or states but by entrepreneurs....

In India entrepreneurs are rare and endangered species

Entrepreneurship is just a fancy word talked about in campuses to justify the creation of incubation centers and govt financial support policies to support the culture of innovation and creativity among youth

How else you explain craze among IIT students for UPSC and PSU jobs

Yes I truly believe that eco system (social, political, cultural etc) does NOT support entrepreneurship in India

Most of us try to fulfil the dreams which our parents have seen may be for them initially and now for us

Let me end my discussion with my favorite dialogue of film Guru .......where father of Guru bhai (Masterji) says that dreaming is bad don't see dreams .....I think that's what our society teaches us
