Job title:                              IT Infrastructure Engineer

Reports to:                         IT Infrastructure Manager

Location:                            Main Office

1. Purpose of your job

Responsible for Administrative, monitoring, supporting, and improving all data center hardware and equipment, including servers, storage, converged infrastructure, and appliances from various manufacturers.

2. Accountabilities and Duties                                                                    

• Manage and maintain data centers and IT Infrastructure Equipment.
• Manage and maintain Intel Based server.
• Manage and maintain Virtualization infrastructure.
• Manage and maintain the SAN Network and Storage System.
• Manage and maintain Replication Solution.
• Manage and maintain Disaster Recovery Systems.
• Manage and maintain Network Devices Hardware.
• Manage and maintain Security Devices Hardware.
• Maintain Backup solutions, disaster recovery site, and business continuity plans.
• Identifying, tracking, and resolving technical issues related to IT Infrastructure Equipment.
• Management and provisioning of storage systems including primary, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Manages VMware environment, including storage, installing new VMware software, keeping environment up-to-date, monitoring performance, developing more effective techniques, and troubleshooting problems.
• Backup administration and manage end-to-end backup infrastructure including backup job policies Backup to disk and backup to tape.
• Perform system data backup and recovery as required and in accordance with standards, policies, and Disaster Recovery requirements.
• Create, update, and develop documentation and diagrams for data center technologies.
• Ensure that the IT filing system is up-to-date and properly documented within the area of responsibility.
• Work closely with the IT team to achieve optimum corporate IT Infrastructure, security, and regulatory compliance
• Conduct other duties and responsibilities within the scope of this job description as required.

4.  Qualifications, experience and skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Information Systems, or Computer Science.
• One Minimum of years’ experience in infrastructure administration.
• Center infrastructure awareness is preferred.
• Knowledge of different kinds of server, storage, and backup solutions.
