Inheriting life values

How do we determine our values in life? We all come across different paths that lead us to the principles and values that shape our thoughts and actions and become our everyday guide in our personal and professional life.

For some it comes with life experience, with others it is inherited and taught or yet to be discovered.

It was simple for me; it was a life lesson that I inherited at a young age and embodied for more than 25 years till today.

In simple words at the age of 7, my father taught me three values: respect, help and last but not least, always thank people and show gratitude.

While I graduated with an engineering degree and worked in prestigious projects afterwards, I always cherished how empowering simple principles and values can have on a person, and believed that working in a field that will nurture and develop others to be the best versions of themselves personally and professionally is the legacy I wanted to leave. Today, I am a leader in Human Resources, Organizations and People Development. My vision is to provide tools to empower people to become visionary leaders and add value to communities.

Respecting, thanking and helping others are the three values that the 4-year-old Abdullah, my son, repeats today. That is the seed planted in my family, and hopefully people can enjoy the fruits of it in the future. What is the legacy you want to leave behind?

“ What legacy you want to leave?”!!! Feras the question itself has the empowerment that nobody should leave until he/she achieved something that would last and become his/her legacy. I’ve always been in a place where people ask for advices in their personal & career lives and became ‘mini’ career/academic coach without noticing. People has the energy to do all what they dream of or plan to, where I want to be part that support them in their success journey.
