Under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, and Chairman of the Higher Committee for Future Technology and Digital Economy, the Dubai AI & Web3 Festival brought together 6,800 delegates from over 100 countries. With more than 100 exhibitors showcasing cutting-edge technologies, the event highlighted Dubai's commitment to innovation.

Holon and Dubai AI Campus announce Strategic Partnership to boost AI Startups
Dubai AI Campus and Holon have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to create a supportive ecosystem for startups. The partnership, announced during the Dubai AI Festival , aims to assist emerging companies in expanding their presence in the region and strengthening Dubai’s AI ecosystem.

XRPL Scale-Up Accelerator Programme

This initiative is designed to empower XRPL-integrated start-ups that have graduated from the XRPL Accelerator Launch or XRPL Grants. Last week, Leap by DIFC launched Pitch at the Hive — a new initiative designed to give founders and startups the stage to pitch, refine their stories, receive expert feedback, and engage with the community. Their first event highlighted two incredible startups from the community: Teleporta inc.: An AI-driven platform transforming meetings into a comprehensive business management software. Teleporta focuses on improving workflows, task management, and decision-making.
DIFC-based start-up Ziina secures USD 22MN in Series A Funding
DIFC -based start-up Ziina زينة has secured USD 22mn in series A funding. This significant funding will fuel Ziina's expansion beyond a payments solution to providing end-to-end financial services for businesses and consumers.
Ziina's successful funding round underscores its strong market position and investors' confidence in its trajectory. In the last 12 months alone, Ziina has received an influx of SMEs for its 360-degree payment solutions, marking a tenfold increase in annual revenue growth.
Sav Money Secures CAT4 License and Celebrates Women in Tech Recognition
DIFC-based start-up Sav Money has achieved significant milestones recently. The start-up secured DFSA in-principle approval for a CAT4 licence, marking a crucial step in its growth. Additionally, co-founder Purvi Munot was part of the Women in Tech programme 2023, organised by Standard Chartered in partnership with DIFC Innovation Hub.
