Inside my logistics watchlist this week 🚙

Hello,

We’re heading into the busiest time of the year for delivery.

This is where businesses that use technology can scale really well, while businesses that use more traditional systems face many challenges.

There are just 26 days until Christmas, but once the season winds down, it’s a great time to think about the difficulties you’re experiencing and how best you can use technology to address them.

Companies like Wing are leading by example, speeding up NHS blood sample deliveries between Guy’s and St Thomas’ hospitals in London—proof that ingenuity drives speed and impact.

Walmart’s drivers are busier than ever, handling 20% more items per trip compared to last year.

They've delivered an incredible 4.4 billion items in just 12 months, many arriving at customers’ doors the same day or the next.

And let’s talk about Amazon. Whether you admire them or aim to outpace them, their relentless drive to redefine delivery is impossible to ignore.

Watching their latest ideas unfold reminds me of one thing: innovation doesn’t wait—it’s up to us to keep up.

Happy Delivering,

— Steve
