International Women's Day 2023

We wanted to share the love this #InternationalWomensDay and shout out to some of the women who inspire us each and every day.

Shout out first and foremost to our CEO and Co-Founder Hana Sutch for building the Go Jauntly community and her constant fight to save the planet for future generations.

Next up is the astonishing Kwesia, aka City Girl in Nature, who works tirelessly on sharing her passion and love for the planet with young people in inner cities. We were lucky enough to have her as our first guest on Season 4 of Nature Bantz.

The work that Black Girls Hike UK does is essential - making the outdoors feel like a safe space for Black women, and helping them reclaim the outdoors!

For those wanting #carfreecities Hirra K. is a formidable woman to take note of. Not only that, she's a trustee at Wen, an important network of women taking collective action for a healthier planet. Hirra recently wrote a fantastic article about what it would look like if we put people before cars.

The great  Susan Claris has a mission to get more people #walking and wheeling. She's not only Transport Planner at Arup she's also Vice President at  Living Streets .

If you're looking for ways to combine #arts and #natureconnection as a coping mechanism in these challenging times, Zoe Palmer is the woman to follow. We're always inspired by her passion for #socialjustice and the transformative power of the arts.

We love all that Georgia Yexley stands for. A passionate advocate for #inclusion and #diversity in #activetravel and tech.

Environmental consultant, marketing whizz and TEDx Talker Ali Clifford is an all round #sustainability guru.

We’re always inspired by Tessa Clarke the Co-Founder & CEO of food sharing app Olio • Share More, Waste Less . She’s on a mission to reduce #foodwaste and you can listen to her tips in a past episode of Nature Bantz.

We really admire the work Samia Dumbuya is doing. Since a teenager, she has been fighting against systems that cause harm to our collective wellbeing and systems that hinder future generations. You can read her insightful article on what is eco-anxiety here.
