Ray-Ban and Meta have announced the launch of their next generation of smart glasses, the Ray-Ban I Meta smart glasses. By saying “Hey Meta,” you can start to experience new glasses with Meta AI, just by using your voice now!

Meta and Ray-Ban have revealed their next generation of smart glasses that were redesigned from the ground up in partnership with Italian-French design conglomerate EssilorLuxottica. The companies had launched their first-gen edition of the glasses in 2021.

In the two years since then, designers have focused their efforts on revamping the glasses with improved features and technological capabilities by freeing you from the constraints of a hand-held camera. Here are some highlights of the new glasses:

📷 🔉 Advanced audio and camera capabilities: The Ray-Ban I Meta smart glasses have a new 12MP ultrawide camera that takes high-quality photos and videos in portrait orientation. 👥🎥More design customization options: The Ray-Ban I Meta smart glasses are available in over 150 lens and frame combinations, giving users more options to create a look that's uniquely their own — even in noisy or windy environments.

🔋🔋 Power Up:  Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses are powered by the all-new Qualcomm Snapdragon AR1 Gen1 Platform, which enables higher-quality photo and video processing and even faster computing. It also has 36 hours of battery life with its charging case. They are available for pre-order now and will start shipping on October 17th.
