Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Transportation Technician 3 to support the survey activities of the Olympic Region and the Right of Way Plans Office as a survey technician both in field mapping, staking and survey data processing. This position provides quality survey data, which is required as a first step to develop engineering and eventually construction plans for WSDOT. The survey data provided improves the safety, quality, and capacity of Washington State’s Transportation system by providing the data for contract plans development. This position will be expected to exercise initiative and judgement in carrying out assignments according to established policies, procedures, and standards.
