Join us this Thursday at 3:30 (Oct 24) for the launch of the Neurodiversity Chapter of Silicon Slopes
This week is an exciting milestone as we officially launch the @Neurodiversity Chapter of Silicon Slopes! RSVP NOW
It’s been over five years since Auticon first explored Utah’s tech landscape, and we’re thrilled to now create a dedicated chapter within Silicon Slopes for neurodiverse professionals. Whether you're neurodiverse yourself or a supporter, we warmly invite you to join this powerful movement.
Some of the brightest minds in tech - From the C Suite, to product managers, data scientists, and system architects - succeed in spite of and often because of their neurodiversity.
THESE PEOPLE HAVE SUPERPOWERS More...
Now is the perfect time to connect with, support, or become part of this remarkable community.
Join us this Thursday October 24th, from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM, at Silicon Valley Bank in Cottonwood Heights for the official chapter kickoff! This event is a fantastic opportunity to discover how neurodiverse talents are shaping the future of tech and explore the unique ventures tied to this thriving community. RSVP NOW
You'll hear about how individuals on the spectrum, including those with autism, ADHD, and bipolar disorder, are flourishing in tech. Plus, we’ll discuss valuable resources and opportunities that are opening new doors and providing fresh perspectives for neurodiverse professionals.
We’re also thrilled to highlight existing spaces like the Hub of Opportunity, where neurodiverse and mixed abilities adults can work, live, play, and share their talents in a supportive, inclusive environment. Conveniently located near a TRAX line, this magical space offers independent living and opportunities for those facing various challenges, including autism. It’s also home to the Columbus Community Center and the STEM Action Center - two incredible organizations leading the way in empowering our communities.

MAKE A DIFFERENCE
In other event news, Silicon Slopes Summit is hosting its biggest gathering yet—a five-day celebration of entrepreneurism and innovation in downtown Salt Lake City and Utah County. This event will coincide with Sundance in January 2025, making it a can't-miss opportunity to network, explore, and grow alongside the brightest minds in the industry. Did I mention it's free for Utah residents? Huge thanks to Clint and the Silicon Slopes Summit team for making this event accessible to all!
Also, Red Wolf Technology (an incredible CE and 3D printing jmaster class) is celebrating its ribbon-cutting and grand opening this Wednesday, October 23 on State Street in LEHI!
If you can’t make it Wednesday, swing by on Friday, October 25 around 1 for a burger with the Utah Burger Club, right across the street at Salty's Grill at Scorez. It’s a great chance to check out what his team has built at Red Wolf Technology
Hopefully, you can participate in any or all of these events—whether you’re part of the neurodiverse community, a supporter, or simply someone curious about the intersection of tech and neurodiversity.
