Journey Through Shadows: Finding Light After Loss

Journey Through Shadows: Finding Light After Loss

In June 2022, my life was struck by a wave of tragedies. First, I lost my mother, and within a span of 21 days, my father-in-law passed away. The grief was immense, but it was compounded by a debilitating sense of guilt. My relationship with my mother had been strained due to a severe argument we had, and it haunted me that we never got the chance to reconcile. As for my father-in-law, I felt responsible for his sadness, as our love marriage had taken his only daughter away from the close-knit family life he had envisioned for her.

In the wake of these events, I found myself spiraling. I lost my appetite and with it, 10 kilograms from my already underweight frame. Sleep eluded me as guilt-ridden thoughts kept me awake night after night. But amidst this darkness, I clung to a vital lesson I had learned early in life: the importance of self-reliance. I knew that waiting for someone else to lift me out of this despair wasn't an option; I had to be the architect of my own recovery.

With a resolve that sometimes felt like it took everything I had, I started the slow process of rebuilding myself. It wasn't just about regaining physical strength or weight; it was about nurturing a mindset geared towards happiness and healing. It was about accepting that while I couldn't change the past, I could influence my future.

Now, a year and a half later, I am still on this journey. The road to recovery is not linear; there are good days and bad ones. But the progress is undeniable. Each step forward, no matter how small, is a victory against the shadows of guilt and grief. This experience has taught me about the depths of my resilience and the power of a determined spirit.

To anyone reading this, who might be mired in their own battles with loss, guilt, or any form of emotional suffering, remember this: healing starts with you. It’s okay to feel broken, but within you lies the strength to rebuild. It's a path marked by small, steady steps, patience, and an unwavering commitment to self-care and growth. Your journey might be long and challenging, but every step forward is a step towards a happier, healthier you."

Moreover if you ever feel like taking to some and noone is around just remember I'm one message away.
