Kampala Metropolitan East Police Donate Items During Service.

As the festive season draws closer, St. Peter's Naguru Church of Uganda held a heartwarming Christmas Carols service, featuring melodious hymns that glorified God. The event brought together Christians to celebrate and enjoy precious moments in the presence of the Lord.

The Vicar of St. Peter's Naguru, Rev. John Musa Lakor, delivered an uplifting sermon, encouraging believers to embrace the blessings of the season. “As we celebrate Christmas this month, Christians should understand that the Angels who appeared before the people that came to see Jesus also brought blessings,” he stated. Rev. Lakor urged the congregation to celebrate Christmas with joy and laughter, reminding them of the true essence of the season.

Police Festive Free Crime Walk Culminates in Church Donations

The service also marked the conclusion of the Kampala Metropolitan East Police’s Festive Free Crime Walk, aimed at promoting safety and security during the festive season. As a gesture of solidarity with the church community, the police donated items such as soap and food to the church administration.

Nathan Katumba, the Regional Community Liaison Officer for Kampala Metropolitan East Police, emphasized the importance of the walk in ensuring Ugandans’ safety during the Christmas period.

Council Handover Ceremony

In addition to the carols and community support, St. Peter's Naguru Church of Uganda held a council handover ceremony. The outgoing council officially handed over responsibilities to the newly elected council members, marking a new chapter in the church’s leadership.
