K - KISS IT - 'Keep it simple, stupid'.. perhaps the finest mantra or principle to be followed in life & business, and particularly in the formulation of ideas. It is quite amazing how much clutter (complexity) can attach itself to the spark of an idea. I blame 50 to 60 page business plans of eras gone by. If you cannot get your entire idea, design, project, or business concept described in 10 lines to maximum 1 x A4 page, you may well be overthinking it.
'According to a Harvard Business Review research article, the biggest driver behind a consumer’s decision to purchase is simplicity.'
L - LEVERAGE IT - Leverage is the art of utilizing what you currently have as a lever to develop, negotiate, extract, uncover, an exponentially greater potential result (e.g. 10X and more) or as a door-opening opportunity to wider market exposure.
