LA Goes Pink - October 26, 2017

LA Goes Pink on October 26 in honor of all the women and men who have either won or lost their battle with breast cancer and to raise support for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

The inaugural LA Goes Pink event will be held at the United Talent Agency's Artist Space in downtown L.A. from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

I would be very grateful if you could join me in support of this event through the following opportunities:

This issue is very personal to me. Both my mother and father were diagnosed with breast cancer and the woman who introduced me to my wife lost her battle with the disease, leaving behind a young son and husband.

As she fought the disease, my friend Liz was introduced to BCRF. She knew that no amount of “prevention” would help her, but she found the energy and time to celebrate her final birthday by hosting a fundraiser to raise money for BCRF to help researchers discover a breakthrough in the treatment of triple negative breast cancer.

Most notably, BCRF dedicates 91 cents for every dollar raised to fund the research efforts of 250 scientists in 14 countries. In Southern California BCRF has invested more than $30 million since 1993 and a few of L.A.'s world-class institutions have been its beneficiaries - Cedars Sinai Medical Center, UCLA, and City of Hope.

We have been able to launch this event with the generous support of Delta Air LinesUnited Talent Agency and City National Bank and we look forward to building on this momentum with your support.

Thank you in advance for your help in supporting LA Goes Pink.

Sincerely,

 Michael
