LEADERSHIP - REAL OR IMAGINED

I love this quote - GREAT LEADERSHIP STARTS WITH A WILLING HEART, A POSITIVE ATTITUDE, AND A DESIRE TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE. I am not always sure that Leaders have a desire to make a difference - in today's world climate it seems we are prone to be insular and instead of providing leadership OUR "LEADERS" are saying what they think people want to hear

. I guess the challenge is to get all the blocks in the right order while ensuring you continue to have passion and drive for what you are doing. I also believe that in LEADERSHIP that everyone plays a role. I am interested in your thoughts, is true leadership declining?, do you know any great leaders?, what makes them stand out?.In my career I have been very fortunate and have had 4 great career leaders and 2 great family leaders. I have tried to incorporate aspect of each of these fantastic people and came to realise it begins and ends with PASSION AND HEART!
