Leadership...It is not easy!

Leadership...It is not easy!

In thinking about how to build BKD Leaders with Kristen Deptula, we always strive to deliver programs that make a difference to the audience we are privileged to work with. That means we constantly adapt our core 3 Pillars of Leader Development (Being. Knowing. Doing) content and messaging to meet each company's unique needs.

To be transparent, it takes an almost Herculian effort to inspire intellectual, emotional, and professional growth in a person who listens, read, and/or participates in a workshop. We know how much effort it takes to make someone better, to perform even 1% better than they were performing before they gifted us with their attention. We love the hard work. We put in the hours, knowing that the work place, and people's personal lives, are enriched by working with us.

When you think about who you want to choose as a company to hashtag

#developleaders, ask yourself if you would want this person to guide your family to live better lives, if you would introduce them as a partner, and if they actually give a damn about you.

There is no magic potion to being a better leader. It takes hard work, coaching, reflection, experience, success and failures, courage, mentoring, and intuition. It's gonna be hard, so suck it up and press on! You got this, because we got you!aders

Leadership is easy. You need to get out of your own way and be working on your business not IN your business. If you cant take two weeks off from your business and it keeps making money, you are not leading...
