Job Summary
The Head of Consumer Finance is responsible for leading the strategic and operational direction of the consumer finance division, including personal loans, credit cards, and other retail lending products. This role ensures the achievement of business objectives by driving growth, innovation, profitability, and customer satisfaction while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
• Develop and implement the overall strategy for the consumer finance division, aligned with the bank’s vision and objectives.
• Identify market opportunities, trends, and competitive threats to expand the consumer finance portfolio.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to set financial goals, key performance indicators KPIs), and benchmarks.
Product Development and Management
• Oversee the design, pricing, and enhancement of retail lending products, ensuring they meet customer needs and market demands.
• Monitor product performance and drive continuous innovation and improvement.
Sales and Business Development
• Lead the sales teams to achieve volume, revenue, and market share targets.
• Build partnerships with key stakeholders, including fintech companies, retail businesses, and other financial institutions.
• Promote cross-selling opportunities across the bank’s product lines.
Customer Experience
• Develop strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Oversee the implementation of customer-centric policies and digital solutions.
• Monitor feedback channels to identify and resolve customer issues promptly.
Risk and Compliance
• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and risk management policies.
• Work closely with the risk and compliance teams to maintain portfolio quality and reduce non-performing loans.
• Implement robust credit evaluation and underwriting processes.

Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is preferred.

• Proven track record of delivering growth and profitability in the consumer finance sector.
