Let's celebrate more & harder

This is something I learn from a talk today and I find it so timely and relevant these days. The last few months have been tough for everyone due to Coronavirus disease that spreads to so many countries around the world and it doesn’t look like it will stop anytime soon.

As a result, everyone gets affected, from doctors and nurses to pilots and flight attendants, from hotels to restaurants, from shopping malls to hospitals and everywhere in between. It’s been challenging and I’m not even trying to sugarcoat it because I simply can’t.

What I can do or what I can control is my attitude and reaction to it. In situations like these, it’s so easy for us to focus on what’s bad/worse/worst and forget any good things that happen in our lives, especially when these are not “big” enough. I want to challenge this.

Let’s celebrate more and harder, no matter how “small” these achievements are. When we celebrate, life suddenly becomes more liveable and lively again. If you don’t believe me, try celebrating!

Today I celebrate all the hard works I have put in to get more participants for my upcoming workshop in Singapore (we are 1/2 way now yay!). I also want to celebrate a slightly delayed birthday of one of my besties (it’s only few months late but hey better late than never right). Last but not least, I celebrate the fact that I made it on time for our birthday dinner & I also finished one of the things I have put in my to do list for too long! Yay, so many things to celebrate!

How about you? What are you celebrating today?
