Let's Define Remarkable

Let's Define Remarkable

Strap in because it's time to shake things up. If you're cozy in your comfort zone, preparing for another day of the 'same old,' you’re on the fast track to Averageville. And trust me, nobody’s throwing parades there. Let’s redefine remarkable. Why? Because your community deserves it.

  1. Remarkable Isn't About You: If what you're doing doesn't make others want to shout from the rooftops, you're leading off your back foot, and systems never change under a back-footed leader.
  2. Stunts vs. Substance: Running in a gorilla suit through the quad today might get you noticed, but let's aim higher, shall we? We’re after impact, not just eyeballs.
  3. Embrace Your Inner Rock Star: Being Average? Boring. Being extreme in your pursuit of awesomeness? Now we’re talking. Remember, nobody ever put a groupie's poster on their wall.
  4. Live on the Edge: The middle of the road is where you get hit from both sides. Be the biggest, boldest, or even the weirdest. Just make sure you’re hanging out where the view's better – the edge.
  5. Not Everyone Gets a Trophy: Some folks won’t get what you’re doing. That’s fine. Let them bury their heads in the sand and hurl on you while you’re out there changing the game.
  6. If It’s Been Done, It’s Done: If your idea is in a ‘For Dummies’ book, it’s not a breakthrough. It’s a been-there-done-that. Aim to be the first, the original, the ONLY. The one we'll remember.
  7. Fear is Just a Four-Letter Word: They say, “Don’t rock the boat.” I say, “Why not?” It’s the remarkable ones who ride the waves, not the ones clinging to the shore.
  8. Wearable Wisdom: Think about it – would someone wear your idea on a T-shirt? If not, it might be time to rethink your strategy.
  9. The Fashion Fades, the Funky Endures: Today’s ‘in thing’ is tomorrow’s ‘remember when.’ Keep reinventing your remarkability. Rest on your laurels, and you’ll just end up with bagged leaves set out on the recycling curb.

Friends, it's time to step up. Community trust is low, and your team's burnout levels are high. Our systems are in need of a rebuild, not a factory reset.

Your office is not asking you to fit in; you're there to stand out. We’re not here to meet yesterday's expectations; we’re here to blow them out of the water. Let's not just raise the bar; let's redefine it.
