1️⃣ Mocap Content Creators Conference (MCCC) - Fourth edition
Get ready for the fourth 𝗠𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗽 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 (𝗠𝗖𝗖𝗖) on March 12. Explore the world of mocap creators with speakers such as Edward Green , Teflon Sega , Debi Wong and companies like HEAT and Mindshow .
It's a free online event, the last one (the Metaverse Chapter) in 2022, I even hosted myself.
2️⃣ NO CGI is really just INVISIBLE CGI - Episode 3
VFX supervisor Jonas Ussing takes the third deep dive into the world of invisible CGI. This time he addresses some shady blue screen removals and talks about Barbie and Oppenheimer.

3️⃣ Barbie VFX doll
Mattel released four new Barbie models in the Career of the Year Barbie collection, aimed at the film set. The Hollywood Reporter jumped in and added the dolls that were missing. This included the Assistant, the Mocap Barbie, the Indie Producer, the Below the Line Barbie, and the AI Barbie.
4️⃣ The 5 Stages of Movement by Eric Jacobus
Eric Jacobus from SuperAlloy Interactive released a video going into The 5 Stages of Movement principle to better align motion capture acting and directing. This 10-minute video goes into the world of performance capture and Gameplay capture and he comes up with an universal ' Movement Grammer' to make mocap acting and directing more effective.

5️⃣ Live mocap at the Super Bowl
This year's Super Bowl was extra entertaining with Silver Spoon and Nickelodeon . During this massive live event, they included many live AR elements and characters. This included live motion capture for SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star using Movella Entertainment | Xsens .
