LineLeader Key Updates - Manage & Engage Platforms

Hey again! It's Teddy Hook, VP of Product at LineLeader by ChildcareCRM!   

A few weeks ago, I shared some exciting updates we’ve made to our childcare CRM and enrollment operations platform, Enroll.  

Now, I’m back with more exciting updates on LineLeader’s center management system, Manage, and family engagement app, Engage.  

Over the first half of this year, our product and development teams worked tirelessly to roll out numerous new features and exciting system improvements. We’re pleased to have deployed several feature releases derived directly from customer feedback, our most important voice in product strategy.  

Here are some of the key highlights: 

Engage 

1. Enhancements to the Parent Engagement App 

• We’re excited to introduce app updates that enhance functionality with visible activity names, new payment displays, and improved tracking for a smoother, more insightful experience.   

Manage 

2. Parent-Led Registration 

• This online registration and payment tool offers tools to manage your classes, camps, after-school programs, and more. 

• Easy, Online Registration: Parents control the registration experience, seamlessly selecting the programs they want their child to sign up for & making payment. 

• Punch Cards: Parents can purchase a set number of days to attend and staff can easily manage attendance through prepaid punches. 

• Booking Management: Quickly identify who is enrolled and how many spaces are left to fill, while never over-enrolling a program. 

3. Enhanced Billing Functionality 

Handle Split Pennies:

• Improved payment processing: no split pennies before invoicing, ensuring accurate and reliable payments.   

Subsidy Agency Filter for General Attendance Report:

• New filter for children enrolled in a subsidy program simplifies compliance and reporting.   

Voucher Dates:

• Admins can now set voucher dates, simplifying voucher program management.   

Refactor (Manual) Invoicing and Autopayment: 

• Updates to the scheduler ensures stable, reliable billing with fewer errors. 

KinderConnect Integration:

• LineLeader now integrates with KinderConnect in New York, Louisiana, Texas, and Missouri. Send attendance information to the required state agencies – with less work. 

General Functionality:

• This section is a mixed bag of exciting, well-loved product developments we cooked up throughout January through June. 

Automatic PIN Code Generation:

• 4-digit PIN codes are automatically generated and shared for "Staff" or "Admins" and can be received via text. 

Improve Timecard Data Quality:

• Timecard-only edits prevent overlaps, ensuring accurate payroll and tracking. 

Make Site Switcher Fast:

• Switching sites is now faster with a new, easy search bar. 

Middle Name and Preferred Name on Profiles:

• Family profiles now include middle and preferred name fields for a more personalized experience.  

Manual Time Entry Guardrails:

• New guardrails for time entry (total hours are now visible) prevent overlap errors preventing overpayments. 

Roles and Permissions:

• Define who can add accounts, enhancing flexibility, control, and security. * This is an add-on feature and needs to be requested for enablement.  

Performance Improvements:

• Optimized widgets speed up billing dashboard data generation increasing productivity. 

1Place Childcare Integration:

• For users of both 1Place and LineLeader Manage, center locations, child, and staff info will all sync with 1Place for easier compliance management. 

COMING SOON! 

Configurable Reporting:

• New data tables and configurable reporting to help you get all the reports and insights you need.
