LinkedIn Chronicles: How to Overcome LinkedIn Low Views and Engagements

The LinkedIn algorithm has reduced drastically.

Everyone has gone from 40k-200k views per post to barely  5k-10k.

And this is kinda discouraging to every LinkedIn user.

No one wants to create content for nobody. We all have our specific reasons for posting.

People that say 'I don't care if 0 people read my posts' are lying to themselves.

It's like speaking to an empty room.

Imagine walking to a conference hall to deliver a speech to 0 people.

How will you feel?

We all want to create content for our audience. We want to build our brands.

We want to get business leads and convert them.

But it becomes very impossible when we barely get views or engagements.

Every time your posts get views and engagement; you stand a chance to get leads and build your brand.

It was easier to get a million views back then. But now, it's the survival of the fittest game.

However, I've got you covered on this one.

I've reviewed several strategies to help you create content that can beat the algorithm.

Just implement them in your LinkedIn content and start winning.

How to overcome LinkedIn low views and engagement

People are the algorithm

Many content creators fail to see this! People are the algorithm. Create content around people. Provide tips that can help them get better. They won't just engage, they will also share it with their network. Free publicity! Worry more about how to serve your audience. The views will improve indirectly.

Understand your audience's timezone

Don't post your content around 2 am and expect high views and engagements. Your audience is definitely sleeping by then. So always take your time to study your audience demography. Where is your most engagement coming from? What time do you post?

Study all your high-performing posts

What do they have in common?

Write the similarities down. What can you figure out from them? There will be a common factor. Stick to that factor. That's your content hack. If you haven't figured out yours yet, keep finding it.

People overrate views and engagements

They can make you feel that's the purpose of LinkedIn. No wonder we have so much similar content on the platform. Regurgitated content. People tweaking each other's content to become wannabe influencers.

Listen, people overrate views and engagements. Rather, seek to create content that sells. There is more to views and engagements. Besides, it takes away the purpose of LinkedIn. If you can't convert 1000 audiences, you can't convert 1000000 audiences. Get that fact!

Conclusion

The LinkedIn algorithm sucks. But what sucks more is chasing it. Focus on creating valuable content. It always works. It is not the number of views. It is the quality.

Stop chasing. Start creating. The more the value. The more the leads.

Here are simple content hacks

  • Share stories about your low moments and how you overcome them.
  • Create content around your business. Tell your audience what led you into it.
  • Share customers' testimonials or reviews.
  • Show your audience how to tackle specific problems.

These are ways to beat the algorithm. You get organic reach. Send me a message here if you are looking to create content for your business. I am offering a 30% discount for my content marketing service. Book a spot here.
