What’s a pitch slap on LinkedIn, you ask?

A pitch slap is when someone connects with you and pitches their service for business immediately after connecting.

It’s the worst. 

If you want to win business on LinkedIn, don’t pitch slap. 

It’s annoying and needs to stop because it’s killing LinkedIn Lead Gen, filling up inboxes quicker than the yellowpages filled up mailboxes in the 80's.

The key to succeeding with LinkedIn Lead Gen is to humanize your approach. Bring the personality back to your messages. 

But don’t get all flirty. LinkedIn DMs are not the place for that. That’ll kill your outreach faster than pitch slapping. 

So don’t go there…ever. 

Personal, casual conversations on LinkedIn take effort. It takes knowing who to reach out to. What to say, how to say it, and the best way for them to engage with it.

So, you've now compiled your list of 1,000 prospects that are active on LinkedIn. 

You start hitting connect like it's whack a mole.

Copying and pasting the spam cannon w/ the calendly link, just hoping that some lucky person is going to the click the link to meet with a complete stranger for a solution that they know nothing about.

Can we see why this isn't working?

And them, it stops.

Daily limit 25 invites.

And you repeat this, day in and day out.
