The Love of Business… or the Business of Love?
What do you love?
Is it your business and work, or are you in the business of loving people?
What is really important in your life?
Often you can get so caught up in loving your business. If you are spending all your time working on your business and not focused on the people, you lose focus on what’s really important.
Zig Ziglar says, “you build the people, and then the people build your business.” That means focus on loving people first.
Love is a choice.
It is a verb, not a noun.
So who do you love?
I live by God’s first two commandments, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind,” and “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Matthew 22:37-38
When I love God and then love my neighbor, or the people around me, it makes all the difference in life and my business.
I am big on the golden rule. I love people and then “Treat others the way I want to be treated.” This makes everything better for me personally, for my life with others, and for my business.
So what do you really love? Who do you really love?
You can not disconnect you from your business because you take you to work every day. What you are made of and how you look at others, makes all the difference.
So are you loving people or loving your business? One is all about you and the other is about those around you.
Today I want you to stop and think about what your priorities are in your life first, and then what are your priorities in your business?
Are you loving and caring for others?
Like John C. Maxwell says, “People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.”

A good business is not built for you, but for those you serve. How can your product or service help others?
When you care about people, they see it. Your authenticity draws them to you and your business.
If you want to succeed, do something significant and care and love people. Afterall, we are all in the people business.
Are you inspired to do what you do?
“When your job inspires you, success follows.” -Unknown
So today, look to inspire others by loving and caring about them.
We are in this life together.
And we are Better Together!
Choose wisely how you operate in your life and business.
It’s up to you.
You can Live the Life You Choose!
Blessings!

1wSpot On Russ! My father was a salesman and I would go with him sometimes to see his clients. They all knew my dad. My dad had colon cancer. He always took care of them. When he passed, he left a wife and four boys, known to everyone as “The Bayliss Boys!” My dad did not believe in medical insurance. But one of his friends was a Insurance Agent. He wrote him a policy and gave it to my mother, so we wouldn’t be homeless. He was 42, and she was 34. I was the oldest (12). I turned 12 a few days after he passed. He was 6’4! His friends called him “Bull Bayliss due to his size and how took care of his clients. Strang that I became a salesman of live events and stuck to his mantra! If you take care of your customer, they will give you their business and their clients will give you their businesses! Keep up the good work! Always remember that your customer will take care of you by telling all their customers! Best, Robert Bayliss Jr.😎
