Job Purpose
To take responsibility for the planning, management and execution of all marketing, advertising, and promotional activities towards achieving the brand(s) strategy. Key deliverable is the successful execution of international brand strategy and programs with local market insights and topspin. In addition, the Brand Manager is responsible for the implementation of brand(s) omni-channel and digital marketing objectives and overall financial performance of the brands, ensuring profitability and market share / brand ranking growth.
Job Requirements
As the brand manager you will be responsible for ensuring Coty brands grow their relevant markets shares through successful management of the brand portfolio and executing marketing strategies.
Your main areas of responsibility will include the following:
· Gross & Net Margin ownership at brand level
· Retail sales performance co-ownership
· Developing strong strategies relevant to competitive positioning and channel focus
· Managing marketing campaigns across TV, print and online platforms to ensure that products and services meet customers’ expectations and to build the credibility of brands
· Managing all in store/trade marketing executions to the required global standards
· Analyzing the success of marketing campaigns and creating reports
· Carrying out competitor and market research in order to keep up to date with customer trends, as well as trying to predict future trends
· Effectively communicate marketing activities across multiple functions, and obtain global approvals where necessary
· Managing a marketing budget
· Building relationships with key suppliers and global contacts
· Forecasting for all relevant non-saleable materials in order to execute campaigns successfully
· Forecast for testers and ensure sufficient service to the trade, while monitoring tester ratios
· Managing inventory levels & master data of all non-saleables
· Product Lifecycle Management – global and local discontinuations, innovations
· Managing promotional strategies and ROI: Sets; GWPS; Retailer KCPS/Discounts; Co-op
· Administration and Reporting
· Educating stakeholders on your brand and brand strategy
· Regular feedback to global teams on best-in-class executions, and market education
Job Profile
Education:
· Qualified to bachelor's degree level, BCom marketing or equivalent
Required experience:
· 5-8 years of experience in luxury retail industry brand management
· Proven ability to drive retail success of a brand/product
· Managed marketing budgets essential
· Experience in managing luxury licensed brands. Fragrance, Colour and Skincare an advantage.
· Knowledge of the market and understanding lifestyle category and market segments
· Social media and digital marketing experience

· Strong business and financial acumen and able to influence P&L to reach financial KPI’s
· Analytical skills and attention to detail
· Strategic thinking, creativity and innovative ideas for campaigns
