Maintenance of hydraulic cylinder
, We should pay attention to the surface of the piston rod and prevent scratching and damage to the seal. In addition, we need to clean the dust ring parts and rod out of the barrel. During the process, the driver should avoid falling objects, high-voltage power lines, and other factors that may bruise and injure the cylinder.
, We should check the threads, bolts, and other connection parts regularly, if found loose then immediately tighten them. After daily work, wipe the piston rod to prevent mud, dirt or water drops on the piston rod from entering the cylinder seal inside causing seal damage. When the machine is parked, the cylinder should be in a fully retracted state, and grease the exposed part of the piston rod (grease). The machine should be operated once a month during the parking period for telescopic stroke maintenance of the piston rod.
, We should often lubricate the coupling parts to prevent rust or abnormal wear without oil. Especially for rust in some parts, we should deal with it in time to avoid oil leakage from the hydraulic cylinder due to rust. In the special working condition area construction (seaside, salt field, etc.), we should clean the cylinder head and piston rod exposed parts in time to avoid the piston rod crystallization or corrosion.
, For daily work, we should pay attention to the system temperature, because high oil temperature will reduce the service life of the seals. And long-term high oil temperature will cause the seals permanent deformation.

, Every time the cylinder better run 3-5 strokes before work. This can exhaust the air in the system, preheat the system and avoid the presence of air or water in the system. If not cylinder may cause gas explosion phenomenon, which will damage the seals, resulting in cylinder internal leakage and other failures.
, Cylinders should not be close to the welding work. If not, welding current may strike the cylinder or welding slag splash strikite the surface of the cylinder.
