Manglagour Vrat is dedicated to Goddess Parvati. Manglagour Vrat is observed specially during Sawan Month. It falls on every Tuesday. This time, Manglagour Vrat is being observed on Sawan Mangalwar i.e., 2nd August 2022. Mangla Gauri Vrat 2022 Significance: Goddess Mangal Gauri is one of the forms of Goddess Shakti (divine feminine creative power). This puja ritual is performed for early marriage and getting a suitable life partner. It is believed that Maa Parvati performed penance for several years to marry Lord Shiva. Therefore worshipping Goddess Parvati, blesses with an ideal or desired life partner. It also brings good fortune to the family.

Mangala Gauri Mantra: "Sarva Mangala Maangalaye Shive Sarvaartha Saadhike Sharannye Triambake Gauri Naaraayanni Namostute" "मंगला गौरी मंत्र: सर्व मंगला मंगलाये शिवे सर्वार्थ साधिक शरणन्ये त्र्यंबके गौरी नारायणी नमोस्तुते " The Mangla Gauri Vrat and Katha is dedicated to Goddess Mangla (Maa Parvati). Legend Behind Mangal Gauri Puja: According to legend, a wealthy merchant named Dharampal had a beautiful wife. But the couple (Dharampal and his wife) were childless. They performed penance and by the grace of God they obtained a son but he was short-lived. The couple married off their son with a girl who was blessed with a daughter who would never face widowhood.
