Marketing Tips Inspired by Significant Events taking place in March

March forward to Business Success with our monthly Marketing News

Hello!👋 Thanks for taking the time to read our latest marketing bulletin.

March is busy, and we have chosen three events to represent the power of ambition, achievement, and celebrating success.

First, we have International Women's Day, with the theme “Inspire Inclusion,” which will be celebrated at events worldwide.

Next, we have an epic rugby match between Ireland and England, reminding us of the value of teamwork, strategy, and ambition in achieving significant results.

Finally, we celebrate St. Patrick's Day,☘️ our national holiday that's captured the attention of millions worldwide as a day of celebration and success.

We explore parallels across all three and how you can draw inspiration to take a fresh approach to growing your business with targeted marketing strategies.

We have five marketing tips to help you focus. Finally, we introduce our new keyword ranking tool, which illustrates how our customers' businesses perform for key search terms on Google Maps and Search, making it easier to identify areas needing improvement. (Illustration below).

International Women’s Day (IWD) - Friday, 8 March 🫶

IWD events are taking place nationwide this week and are an ideal opportunity to network. Networking is a powerful tool for business owners, especially those targeting a local market. It provides a forum to help you establish meaningful connections, build trust, identify collaboration opportunities and ultimately grow your business.

Check out what’s happening in your local area and sign up for an event. e.g. DLR Chamber (in partnership with Local Enterprise Office DLR and the Frascati Centre) is organising an event in Talbot Hotel Stillorgan on Friday, 8th March).

🏉 Rugby, Teamwork, and Success

On Saturday, 9 March, Ireland faces England in Twickenham. This match is a big deal. The Irish team is going for something that's never been done before—winning back-to-back Six Nations grand slams. It's a historical moment, and everyone is excited to see if they can make it happen.

Success in sports is clear-cut: you Win 🏆 or Lose! However, achieving this success involves incredible planning, strategy, analysis, and teamwork. Likewise, significant effort and leadership are required in business to achieve revenue growth, profitability and customer satisfaction. Are you winning?

St. Patrick's Day - Go Green ☘️

Our annual holiday has captured the imagination of people across the globe. While there may only be a vague correlation with your business, including the theme in your marketing efforts can create brand awareness and engagement.

Include employees, sponsor a local parade, have an office green theme, take photos, and share on social media. It all helps to place your business at the heart of the local community.

Marketing Tool of the Month - A Password Manager

A Password Manager protects your business from cybercrime. Small businesses are not exempt from this threat. Weak passwords can create vulnerability and lead to unauthorised access to sensitive business information, financial losses, and damage to reputation.

We use LastPass , but there are several other tools available. LastPass stores and auto-fills your passwords across your devices. It eliminates the need to remember numerous complex passwords, so employees are not tempted to use guessable ones.

There is a free version available. You can find out more here.
