March’s Webinar Set
As we make it our priority to spread knowledge about Salesforce solutions to the world, we launched three webinars this month. The first one, “Navigating Talent Shortages: Best Practices in Staff Augmentation,” was devoted to the benefits of staff augmentation services and led by our experts Yaroslav Mazuryk and Nazar Dykiy .
The webinar “Scaling with Confidence: Salesforce Staff Augmentation as the Solution for Partner Growth” with Khrystyna Pikh and Andrii Ivasiv shed light on the true nature of staff augmentation and its financial advantages, and explored real case studies of Redtag's staff augmentation success.
In the webinar, “Unleashing the Power of Salesforce Multi-Cloud Solutions for the Manufacturing Industry,” Nazar Mykytyn and Liza Gospodarenko , spilled the beans on how to choose and apply the best Salesforce Multi-Cloud solutions in the manufacturing sector and drive profit by 30%.
Redtag’s New Podcast Episode
In the latest episode of our podcast, we laid our cards on the table sharing how Redtag rebooted operations of a chemical giant. Our CTO Oleg Smola had the pleasure of hosting Marco Vleeschdraager from IMCD Group, a leader in the global chemical sector.
Marco talked about Salesforce solutions implemented by Redtag to overcome issues in customer service, document generation, sales and distribution, and pointed at the tangible results of our collaboration, including enhanced efficiency, reduced case resolution times, and increased customer satisfaction.
Supporting Women Soldiers on International Women’s Day
This International Women’s Day, the Redtag team proudly supported our female soldiers by raising 55,000 UAH for 10 sets of uniforms. Partnering with "Zemliachky" NGO for the second consecutive year, we aimed to address the needs of women on the frontline, and highlight their crucial role in Ukraine's armed forces. Our efforts reflect our deep respect and gratitude towards these brave women. United for Victory!
Celebrating Salesforce 25th Anniversary
On March 8th, Salesforce celebrated a major milestone–25th Anniversary. Having been a proud Salesforce partner for 10 years, Redtag joined in the congratulations to the company that truly blazed the trail in the CRM realm.
Starting out with a big idea to make CRM as simple as shopping on Amazon, Salesforce really changed the game, turning it into something any business can use. It's pretty cool to think that what started in a tiny apartment with just four people has grown into this huge company with more than 72,000 folks working there.
Now, with Salesforce aiming to be an AI-first company, it shows they're not just about keeping up but leading the way into the future. Working with them, we feel like part of a bigger picture, trying to make a positive mark on the world together.
Case Studies Inspired by Major Movie Premieres
Recommended by LinkedIn
March was rich in much-anticipated movie premieres, and being avid moviegoers, Redtaggers couldn’t let it go unnoticed. So we took the plunge and cooked up some imaginary case studies, showing how real Salesforce tools can be successfully applied even in the most unusual industries and sectors. Now, get yourself some popcorn and read how Salesforce streamlines spice melange production on Arrakis in a case study inspired by the Dune 2 movie. And when you’re finished with that, take a look at Kung Fu Leap with Salesforce, a case based on Kung Fu Panda 4 that shows how Salesforce can enhance processes within educational institutions of all kinds, even the schools of martial arts.
Redtag at TrailblazerDX Conference in San Francisco
At the TrailblazerDX conference in San Francisco, Oleh Mykytyn had the honor to take the stage and share his insights on how AI is transforming the Salesforce world. He explored the features of Salesforce's Einstein 1 and its impact on improving the user experience, simplifying development work and upholding data security.
In his talk, Oleh made it clear that we at Redtag, even though we're based in Ukraine and dealing with the war, haven’t stopped working or coming up with new ideas. He mentioned how we keep going, even when there are air raid sirens or when the power cuts out. He also said a big thank you to the Salesforce community for sticking with us and supporting Ukraine during these tough times.
The First and Only MVP in Ukraine Works at Redtag
We're proud to have Ukraine's one and only MVP on our team! Oleh Mykytyn has secured the Salesforce MVP 2024 title, his fourth recognition that shows his commitment to innovation, Salesforce, and leadership.
The Salesforce MVP program, started in 2010, annually acknowledges leaders who significantly contribute to the Trailblazer Community. MVP stands for "Most Valuable Professional", evolving from the sports term "Most Valuable Player". It means you're at the top of your game and really making waves in the Salesforce community.
IT News from Ukraine and Worldwide
Now, let’s move on to the part of our newsletter where we spotlight the latest IT happenings from Ukraine and all over the world. In an era where AI is taking over, it's super important to keep up with what’s new and what’s next in the IT world. Check out some of our top picks below.
European Parliament Passes Landmark AI Act: Implications for the EU and Ukraine
The European Parliament has adopted the AI Act, aiming to regulate artificial intelligence (AI) across the EU to protect fundamental rights and ensure ecological sustainability. This legislation prohibits the misuse of AI in creating facial recognition databases and manipulating behavior, among other restrictions.
The AI Act also introduces specific measures against deepfakes, mandating clear labeling of artificially created or altered audio and video content. This move is crucial for maintaining informational integrity and public trust in digital media.
For Ukraine, this development is significant. Despite no immediate plans to implement a similar law, the Ukrainian government views the AI Act as a guide for its future regulatory framework on AI. This approach aims to balance business development with the protection of user rights in the evolving digital landscape.
How AI can Boost Sustainable Investing
With new regulations in the EU and the US requiring companies to disclose environmental and social risks by 2025, the demand for artificial intelligence (AI) tools to manage and report on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors is growing. AI is being used to enhance ESG metric accuracy, assess environmental risks, and predict emissions, helping companies comply with regulations and improve sustainability. Yet, the energy consumption of AI technologies and the potential for biases in AI models raise concerns about their overall impact on sustainability efforts.
Organizations are navigating these challenges by implementing risk management strategies for AI deployment, especially in scenarios that significantly affect their environmental footprint. Companies like Geotab and C3 AI are at the forefront, using AI to optimize fleet management for sustainability and offering software solutions for ESG data analysis, respectively. Despite the costs of meeting ESG disclosure requirements, the goal is to leverage AI to reduce energy and carbon footprints, ultimately benefiting companies, stakeholders, and the environment.
As March wraps up and April peeks around the corner, we at Redtag are keeping the ball rolling with groundbreaking projects, fresh ideas, and lots of teamwork. It's been a great month, and we're pumped to keep the momentum going. There's plenty more in store, so stay tuned. Thanks for being part of our adventure–here's to what comes next!
