Marking National Transport Month with drivers who raise the waste game

·       What do you regard as the most important aspect of being a safe driver?

Driving cautiously, adhering to speed limits, and obeying traffic signs are the most critical parts of being a safe driver. A safe driver refrains from driving while under the influence of alcohol. It is also worth noting that being a safe driver entails driving responsibly and concentrating.

·       What do you like most about your job?

 My position allows me to assist our customers appropriately, and by doing so, you help the company's reputation by providing outstanding service. What I appreciate best about my job is that if I do it correctly, I will keep my job, and we must accept the fact that jobs are scarce.

·       What do you think can be done to make our roads safer?

 Make sure you don't overload or carry big loads; this will allow you to handle your vehicle and reduce accidents. Make sure your loads are secured to reduce potential traffic. Remember, we transport large containers, and if those containers are not adequately secured, they can cause significant traffic and road closures. Drivers must take care not to drive under the influence of alcohol. Prosecute people who break the rules of the road. Make certain that there is adequate visibility on the road.

·       EnviroServ has recently introduced several new safety systems and technologies, how do these help to make your job easier?

EnviroServ has introduced Drivecam, which notifies you when you are in an accident and also who is right and who is wrong. Drivecam decreases my unsafe driving behaviour before a collision occurs, and I can be coached on my road behaviour using the camera footage. TomTom assists you in tracking your work progress, saving time by assisting with guidance.
