May The Workforce Be With You - How to Inspire Your Employees

May The Workforce Be With You - How to Inspire Your Employees

Have you ever wondered why some of your employees are getting kind of...stuck?

Why is it that so many seem to stagnate in their job roles?

You’re Not Pushing Hard Enough!

What’s happening is that you're not pushing them hard enough…

...but I don't mean pushing them to work longer hours or to expand loftier profit margins, or even to land a greater quantity of sales.

Growth As The Goal

What I mean is pushing them to grow as an individual.

What if the fire we lit under our employees’ asses was, first and foremost, the burning goal of personal growth?

Think about it.

By encouraging our employees to be the greatest versions of themselves, we not only show our care for their wellbeing, but we also get an incredible, kick-ass team in return.

Mindvalley - Getting Personal

At my company, Mindvalley, I decided to put personal growth as a top priority for myself and all of my employees.

I get to know my team properly. From enjoying lunches with every new hire, to chatting about their dreams, to making sure I get acquainted with their bucket lists, asking questions like:

‘Where do you really want to be a year from now?’

And afterward we reflect and discuss what the company can do to facilitate those dreams.

Personal Growth = Business Growth

While having goals related to revenue, profit and sales are wonderful, the number one goal has to be how fast your team is growing.

Why…?

Because the healthier, happier, more confident, more rested, more passionate, more stress-free team you have behind you...the greater and more exciting the possibilities become for the rapid expansion of your business.

A Workforce Like No Other

From better bodies to better minds, to seeing more compassion and kindness spread around the office, with growth as the goal you’ll really cultivate a workforce like no other.

You’ll develop a pioneering, innovative, highly successful business like no other, too.

What qualities would YOUR dream workforce have? Share your thoughts below - I’d love to hear them.

How can we apply this idea when we are leader of a collective and there is no employees? Only freelancers working as a network?

Great insight, Vishen Lakhiani. I’ve been pushing this ideology into the company that I recently joined. Hopefully they will all benefit from this practice.
