My discoveries in the last few weeks.
- As a child, I read a lot of historical books. I've always wondered what it's like to live during major historical events. For example, during a plague or war. And you know what? That's not much fun. I think we are all convinced of this. I don't remember where I read it, but I liked the expression: "Life is short, but you're lucky: there's enough shit for your lifetime."
- The Internet is toxic. The people there behave like an evil mixture of mockingjays and gulls. They repost unverified, angry and provocative information. I decided not to join this cacophony because it won't help anyone.
- This is very hard and seems unlikely, but if you reduce scrolling on social networks to a minimum and focus at least on your breathing to begin with, and after it on your daily routine, then the level of anxiety decreases. When we are stressed, we breathe too fast and too shallow. If we breathe slowly and deeply, our body thinks that there is no danger and relaxes a little.
- My network, and I'm referring to those colleagues and friends with whom I often communicate, they are kind, intelligent and caring people. Regardless of their citizenship and nationality, I got tremendous support from them and was amazed once again how lucky I was to have all these people in my life. If it weren't for them, I would just break loose and do a lot of stupid things.
- One can make decisions and move on to action when the head clears up.
- We should hope for the best, but be prepared for the worst and have different Plans B. Just in case.
- I'm a little jealous of the people who believe in God. It seems to me that they are psychologically stronger and more resistant to stress. I am not a believer, but these days I prayed a lot. Somehow this helps.
- It will all end sooner or later, but the world will never be the same. The consequences will be irreversible, and we will have to pay for it one way or another.
I save shareholders from headaches and sleepless nights by bringing order and subordinating chaos to rules. I solve problems, motivate teams to achieve goals, and streamline processes to deliver outstanding results.
