Amanda Pinto QC: Amanda is an expert in international financial wrongdoing and has a niche practice in some of the most high-profile cases within the field, in particular, corporate crime, fraud, money laundering and corruption cases with an international dimension.

She became a Recorder in 2004, a Queen’s Counsel in 2006, a Bencher of the Middle Temple in 2012, was Deputy Chair of Tate Members Council until December 2020, having been a Trustee on the Board of the Tate Members’ Council since 2013 and is also a Trustee of the Slynn Foundation. She was a Champion of the First 100 Years project marking 100 years of women in the legal profession.

As Chair of the Bar Council in 2020, she initiated the Bar Council Leadership Programme to diversify those who will be leaders at the Bar and the modernisation programme for the Bar Council to extend and include far more diverse representation in the profession. She was Chair of the International Committee of the Bar Council 2015-2018.

Amanda is a regular contributor to periodicals, newspapers, radio and television.

She is described in ‘Legal 500 2021’ as: ‘She is a leader in every sense. Incisive, industrious, persuasive and formidable.’
