Midnight Update - #Mission30M

Hi Robin family - really hope you and yours are well and healthy through these times.

The last few weeks have been intense and honestly quite incredible - it is surreal to see how our teams have come together to serve, and navigate whatever they set their minds to. For those in the team who've been napping in the last few months, #Mission30M basically means the Robin Hood Army coming together with partners to serve 30 million meals across 10 countries in 6 weeks with 0 funds.

The "why" is simple - through the current pandemic, we are in the midst of the starkest hunger problem our countries have seen in recent times. Each one of us at the RHA, strongly believe a community problem is not just for the government or industrialists to solve - it is the duty of every private citizen to use their resources and networks in times like this to help those who need it most. A quick snapshot of #Mission30M so far:

• Meals: As of last weekend, 118 cities have rallied together to serve 2.46 million meals in the mission - HATS OFF to each of you. In the last week alone, we've brought on board some incredibly generous partners ranging from industrialists and foundations, and these tie-ups will translate to millions of more people being served in the coming weeks. Honestly what's MUCH more important than the millions, is these smiles in different parts of RHA world:

• Reach: #Mission30M is across every medium - radio, print, TV, billboards, our Instagram Influencer strategy has alone reached out 190 influencers who've spread the #Mission30M word to a staggering cumulative 32.6 million followers - hats off to the team for pulling off the ultimate growth marketing without any funds as always. And yes, we also had our own mission Instagram filter (:

• Safety: Lastly, and probably most importantly - our safety team spread across all cities is working day and night to make sure thousands of Robins are serving in the safest possible way. We understand the recent lockdowns are coming in the way of mission plans - please know that there are several ways for teams to contribute to the mission besides stepping on the field. Always safety first. For those who missed it, through some amazing partners we've got 50,000 green RHA masks which are being used across all countries in the mission.

• #MissionHeart + #MissionFinale: Two exciting parts of the mission coming up - our very own Academy is going to be leading #MissionHeart. For those who don't know what this is - #MissionHeart is a core part of every major mission we've taken which has nothing to do with numbers/goals. The only agenda of #MissionHeart activities across cities is just one - it should deeply touch the hearts of those who are part of it. Really pumped by what team Academy is planning this time - watch this space. Also, this is the longest mission we've been in - two months of planning, and then 45 days of execution. The last week of the mission coincides with a couple of Independence Days - and we will have some of the most exciting parts lined up for then - do wait for and be a part of the #MissionFinale.

That turned out to be a not-so-quick update - and I probably still missed 95% of the heartwarming updates there are to share. Every single day I see our Robin Hood Army teams work - I just feel a deep belief that come what may, humanity is there to stay.
