Mindpark opening in Gothenburg and award winning coworkers

Time really flies and we have a lot of fun stuff going on. But that is no surprise with such a large and innovative community as our coworkers. We love to see how our community accomplishes great things, and in the last month two of our companies have been awarded for the amazing work they do. Take a look and get inspired! And speaking of our large and bubbly community, we are expanding it at the beginning of next year when we open two new sites in Gothenburg. Read more about that down below. We often say that it is in the interaction between people that the magic happens and our community keeps showing how true that is. Hello Gothenburg! We are coming for you.

First we take Skåne, then we take Ber... sorry, Gothenburg. It is time to leave our comfort zone in the very south of Sweden. In the beginning, we started as a café in Helsingborg, selling coffee and with the speed of fun, we became a workspace. Eventually, we opened up in new cities nearby – but now it's about time to leave Skåne and experience Järntorget, in Gothenburg. Järntorget what? Located in Brick Studios, in the new district Masthuggskajen, our workspace consists of 42 offices, 24 open desks and six meeting rooms. A new district is currently being built with 1,300 homes and nearly 6,000 workplaces in this area, characterized by centuries-old history and modern expression, small-scale and grand, local and global. Hey coworker!

We congratulate "Support for Ukraine – Manifestations and Aid Collection in Helsingborg", winner of Årets Hjärta in MiH Guld 2022 – a yearly ceremony to praise business initiatives in southern Sweden. Support for Ukraine collects and purchases aid for Ukrainian civilians and defenders. 

It all started with a group of volunteers and zealots in Mindpark Helsingborg directly when the war broke out when they opened up a space for donations and started to deliver help further. The effect has certainly made a difference: more than 2000 boxes of food, medicine, hygiene items and protective equipment have been sent to Ukraine.

Happening in our community

Recently our coworkers Walr, located at Mindpark Hyllie, has been rewarded for their great work. First they won best workplace in tech, in UK. for their dedication to creating an inspiring working environment, focusing on being a team, employee-led initiatives and sharing and celebrating success together.  

And last Thursday they were awarded the Business Growth Fund's Rising Star in Deloitte's UK Tech Fast 50 awards. A competition where a panel of independent experts from the technology sector awards growth potential in companies, according to scalability, experience, management team expertise and highly promising growth. 

Big congratulations to team Walr! We are so happy to have you as a part of our community. Keep up the good work and let's all get inspired by them in our daily (co)work!
