MY BOOK aka ENGLISH TEACHERS - ADVICE WANTED :)
my dear colleagues! I am preparing a book of my games and activities and I have a few questions that I am not able to decide on my own and I would be really really grateful if you could tell me what you think.
Just a little intro about the book: It will be full of games and activities for English teachers to use in their lessons (or courses), it will be called "Life is too short for boring English lessons" and it will be full of ready to use activities and handouts (to be copied). It will be divided into chapters (ice-breakers, team games, outside game, discussions, drama activities etc.).
1. Do you prefer to have to book in pdf (easy do download and print) or you prefer “real” book?
2. Are you happier to buy each chapter separately (e.g. 60 games for practising English outside) for lower price or you prefer to have it all in one (for higher price)?
3. Do you think that A4 size is the right one or you prefer to have it smaller?
4. Do you want the book to be black and white (good for printing) or colourful (better looking)?
5. What general information about the activity/game do you want to know? I mean what should I say about every single one? I have been considering the following ones but I am not sure what is important for other teachers:
Time, Language level, Number of students, Organisation form, Language goal, Non-language goal, Short characteristic, Material, Age, Time for preparation, Time for realisation.
6. Any other idea? :)
Thank you very much for your help! It is a big dream of mine to publish the book and try to help make lessons more fun for both the students and teachers alike :)
