Discovering My Core Talents: A Journey Through CliftonStrengths

Discovering My Core Talents: A Journey Through CliftonStrengths

Hello there, fellow explorers of self-improvement and lifelong learners!

I'm excited to share with you today an insightful journey I've embarked on using the CliftonStrengths assessment (also known as Clifton StrengthsFinder) from Gallup. The tool highlights our top talents, those unique traits that make us who we are and guide how we approach the world.

I've was just reviewing my top five Signature Themes after years of taking them, and it's pretty amazing how spot on they are!

  1. Harmony: I naturally seek consensus and areas of agreement. Disagreements and conflicts? I prefer to keep them at bay. Harmony isn't just a trait for me, it's a lifestyle!
  2. Analytical: I have an innate drive to uncover reasons and causes, consistently analyzing all factors that might affect a situation. It's like having a mental microscope at all times!
  3. Deliberative: Decisions and choices for me are more than just picks—they demand serious care and anticipation of obstacles. Let's just say, I'm that person who always brings an umbrella just in case.
  4. Learner: Here's one I bet most of us share - a deep-rooted desire to learn and continuously improve. For me, it's about the journey of learning, not just the destination.
  5. Relator: My passion? Building close relationships with others. Working hard with friends to achieve common goals brings me deep satisfaction.
