My Series of Still Life of Glass Bottles

Glass is one of the most difficult surfaces to capture as a painting or as a photograph. Our eyes adjust to visually accept and understand what we are looking at but in reality it is transparent and or reflective. I remember having to spend enormous amount of time in my studio photography days lighting backgrounds to capture the elusive quality that glass presents. The lighting had to be anywhere except directed toward the glass. As paintings similar issues arise.

The Still Life is as old as Art itself. My series on Glass is my "attempt" to digitally capture the allure of glass and to pay homage to the thousands of artists who have inspired me. I hope you will find these visually exciting as does a fine meal that satisfies the palette.

All images are available as signed limited prints additions custom sized to your specification up to 60 inches. Licensing for commercial use is negotiable.
