It is never too late to step back and restart

It is never too late to step back and restart

"The only real battle in in life is between hanging on and letting go"-Shannon L. Adler

You might wonder as to why did I mention this quote to start this article. It is happening sometimes these days that most of us have that nagging feeling of something not being right, most of us don't pay much attention to it. But if you are at that stage when you want to let go and start over, close your eyes take a deep breath and take the proverbial jump my friends. Here you're going to be in for a great new ride. Sure it would be tough and people would judge you and you might feel like giving up and regrets and doubt's might start creeping in.

But always keep stepping back once and ponder over what is being done or what you are going to do and when you reach the place you want to be, you'll realize that it was a great journey and it mattered more than this destination. The satisfaction and joy would be abundant. This taking a step back and reflecting gives you much needed healing and self-confidence to start all over again by avoiding the wrong turns you were going to take. Is it too late to start over? No. Is there any age beyond which it's impossible? A resounding no once again as there is no age or number to stop you from chasing your dreams.

It is never late.Never. Regret is something which is more painful than failure. I will give you some very basic examples, Say you're doing engineering. You realize it in your second year that you are good at something else and you are not doing well in the current circumstances. It might be a completely different stroke your mind wanted to play like following some art. May be dancing or singing. or painting, writing or doing cooking. following some sports or public Speaking or whatever and you think you are wasting your one full year. But wait!

As you have wasted just one year of your life doing something you were not enjoying but now you get only one chance to make that right decision. Therefore, it is my suggestion is listen to that inner voice in your heart and let go of your doubts and insecurities and things you want to change and start on this new journey all over again. Many will laugh at your decision as many would have failed to qualify in that entrance exam for your engineering course or some might have missed achieving what you could. People keep talking anyways.

Take inspiration from all those successful people out there. It is just that you must have enough patience and determination to face criticism. I know starting again will not be easy but it is not impossible, if you are convinced it just requires some will to do so. Remember the success stories of Bill Gates of Microsoft. He appoints a guy to help him run his company but later their opinions mismatched and the other top members sided with the other guy and Bill Gates was fired from his own company. He thought he was finished .

But his name was Bill Gates and he decided to start all over again and found the pleasure to be beginner again avoiding all those mistakes he committed in the first attempt. With his determination and strength he founded two more companies named Next and Pixar. Pixar became the biggest animated movie maker company and Apple bought next due to which Bill Gates succeeded once again. Look, he is also just a human being like us, if he can start again then why not us? Cheers!
