It only felt like last week that we were enjoying the summer holidays and checking out what #TeamLive were getting up to, but now the winter is well and truly setting in and the big C word is being muttered, before we know it it’ll be 2025 and full of fresh starts and new beginnings.
New Beginnings
Speaking of new beginnings, Live Recruitment welcomed 2 new members in October team! Kane Styles & Libby Evans joined as Account Managers and have already added a breadth of experience to our ever-growing team. This makes the growth of team total 5 for 2024, our 20th anniversary year, after Lily Bruce & Felan Quirke joined our Candidate Management team in January and Sophie Ferriman came on board as our Social Media Manager.
C&IT Awards 2024
Laura Kelly , Laura Sidhu & Cassie Capener headed to The Royal Lancaster, London last month to celebrate the Conference & Incentive Travel (C&IT) Awards 2024. Live Recruitment are proud to have sponsored he category for Internal Communications Event of the Year where Live Union took the win for their event “Strategic Leadership Offsite 2024”. The night was a great success and Live Recruitment are proud to have supported once again.

After a gap from birthday celebrations, we celebrated Lily Bruce ’s and Matthew Rothwell ’s birthdays with lots of cake and office cheer, plus Victoria Higgins celebrated her 5 year anniversary at Live Recruitment!
October is the month of all things spooky, which in the Live Recruitment office is well and truly celebrated (until the Christmas decorations and Spotify playlist is on!). The annual pumpkin carving competition kicked off with a 15 minute window to carve, decorate and position the masterpieces. Some teams had concocted a plan, some had a spur of the moment idea on the day, but the almighty winners were Mollie, Jenny and Marc. Check out the highlights video here.
