New Normal , New Habits – are you ready to adapt?

The world we knew and were used to living in for ages has taken a complete 360-degree turn due to the ongoing pandemic. Embracing the new normal is going to be essential to sustain jobs and carve way for growth and success.

Working from home is going to be the way forward for many of us in the upcoming months. How will you ensure that you are not losing visibility and credibility which are two essential tools of success?

Adopt fast to the virtual collaboration tools – Being collaborative is detrimental for visibility and recognition especially while working in a virtual environment. Leverage your internal training tools to build skills in the collaboration tools used by your organization and start using them to communicate with your peers. These tools will help you stay tuned real time about what your colleagues are up to as well to share your insights, expertise and ask questions.

Speak up in connects – Do not be afraid to put across your views, new ideas and ask questions in the virtual connects. Use every opportunity to share experiences and showcase your work to your fellow colleagues.

Stet up regular connects with your supervisor / manager – Setting up weekly or bi-weekly meetings at a convenient time will ensure that you are sharing regular work-related progress, questions, and discussion to avoid disruptions in meeting project deadlines.

Share your learnings – As you adapt to the new normal be sure to proactively share your best practices, learnings and experiences with your colleagues using blogs or vlogs or any of your internal tools. Also learn best practices from your peers for your personal and professional growth.

Let us not lose enthusiasm and motivation in the time of crisis and use these learnings and experiences to further up our journey of growth.
