250 kWp is installed in France
HelioRec is proud to announce the successful installation of a 250 kWp floating solar power plant in France. This fully commercial project marks a major milestone for the company, showcasing the scalability and effectiveness of floating solar technology in generating renewable energy.
The project is installed on a large water body and integrates advanced energy components, including inverters, DC and AC boxes, directly onto the floating platform. These components are essential for converting and managing the solar energy produced by the panels. Despite the challenges of working in a water-based environment, HelioRec successfully adapted the systems for stable, efficient operation.
This installation paves the way for more large-scale floating solar projects worldwide, helping to accelerate the transition to a greener, more sustainable energy future.

To successfully deploy floating solar arrays in marine environments, it's crucial to use precise modeling to ensure they are structurally sound and operate efficiently. The environmental forces like wind, waves, and currents present major challenges that need careful evaluation to guarantee these systems are durable and long-lasting. Many of these challenges aren't fully explored in existing research, which is where our expertise comes into play.
As interest in renewable energy, especially in marine areas, continues to grow, our collaboration could significantly improve how we model floating solar facilities.
