NIGERIA - THE PARADISE

When this thought came to me at first, I rebuked myself just as I rebuked the thought. But after a re-think, I knew that one of the integral ingredients we need to build our nations is adopting a positivist attitude. This is found in our personal lives though, as an average Nigeria will say "thing or times are hard", yet he/she don't want to die because if the strong believe that things will be fine with time. This is the same attitude one will advise all Nigerians to have towards Nigeria.

Yes corruption is looming high daily, yes that is bad and insensitive government to the plight of the masses, yes there are returning obnoxious policies, yes we are suffering terrorism attack, yes some are marginalized, yes all the problems associated with third world countries are associated with us. However, the salient question is shall we fold our hands and just watch things good bad the more. The only sure way is to be civil by contributing positively to correct all these abnormalities.

I believe in Nigeria, I believe Nigeria is a paradise. Individuals have a lot of work to do for we to achieve this. The issue of unemployment is one aspect, I really which to buttress my pint on. Government has become too small to provide jobs for large number of the population. Individuals must  now begin to see themselves as little governments too by creating jobs and investing too. By creating more jobs in their own capacity, unemployment rate will fall, crime will reduce and the standard of living will be increased. By investing in businesses especially the small business created by people who are willing to take risk, more capital will be made available, more turn over rate becomes possible etc.

I have not given up on Nigeria so I don't expect you too. It is ours and ours too build. NO amount of shifting political or economic blames can solve the problem. The main problem of Nigerian problem is that people have refused to solve the problem by preferring and working with viable solutions. Stand up now and make a difference. The power lies within you.
